In the worst political violence in a decade, baton-wielding riot police waded into crowds of young protesters unhappy with the official result of Iran's presidential election on Saturday, which gave President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a 2-1 margin over challenger Mir Hossein Mousavi. Mousavi called the election a fraud but the result is unlikely to be overturned.
