No matter how many times we hear about teen suicide, the numbers are still shocking.
That was the effect of a recent survey of Washington's 10th-graders, which found that 9 percent say they've attempted this ultimate act of despair.
That averages about three kids in every classroom.
As distressing as that is, the number is not a huge leap from previous years, and it's not out of step with the national statistics.
