President Barack Obama came down on the side of no peas when it comes a debate sparked by the New York Times --- which had the audacity Wednesday to suggest the vegetable should be added to guacamole.
Food writer Melissa Clark said the addition of English peas “add intense sweetness and a chunky texture to the dip, making it more substantial on the chip.”
Answering questions on health care via Twitter, Obama added his culinary opinion:
