The small addition to Donald Trump’s Hollywood star appeared Tuesday afternoon, hours before the Republican National Convention would officially approve Donald Trump as the presidential nominee.
It was a 6-inch tall wall, complete with barbed wire, keep out signs and American flags, that closed the star in.
The artist of the installation was originally unknown, but was suspected to be Plastic Jesus, a Los Angeles street artist who has been called “the Banksy of LA.”
He was suspected due to a message on the wall that read “Stop making stupid people famous,” an unofficial motto of the artist.
Plastic Jesus confirmed it was his through an Instagram post late Tuesday. He has done multiple anti-Trump installations.
Trump is well-known for his plan to build a large wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to keep out undocumented immigrants. It was arguably his first policy platform.
