Brrr. Reporters at presidential debate are on ice
Reporters covering the third presidential debate here are bundled up in coats, scarves, even gloves.
That’s because the press filing center at Saint Anselm College is on a 200-by-85-foot ice rink at the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena, home to college’s men's and women’s ice hockey teams.
A memo sent to reporters by organizers this week warned reporters to bundle up. They weren’t kidding.
Hundreds of reporters were each given a pair of hand and toe warmers to use during the Saturday night debate.
