Vice President Joe Biden will join Transportation Secretary - and former Charlotte, N.C., Mayor - Anthony Foxx in Charlotte next week to promote the White House proposals to fund needed infrastructure projects, the White House announced Saturday. President Barack Obama renewed calls this year to fund road and bridge repairs via corporate tax reform. The White House will release more specific details soon, but current plans are a two-day trip, Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, that also includes stops in Charleston, S.C., and Columbia.
