Most Americans think children should be vaccinated, according to a Pew Research Center poll last week.
A closer look reveals a generation gap among those holding that belief.
“Among all age groups, young adults are more likely to say vaccinating children should be a parental choice,” Pew says
Here are the numbers: 41 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds say parents should decide; slightly less than half of that number – 20 percent – of the 65 and older crowd agrees.
Pew says that in 2009, views on the issue were much closer in sync across all age groups.
