A reminder of the Power of Two that the Clintons bring to the 2016 presidential campaign: Former President Bill Clinton will be the special guest at the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s big fundraising dinner in Manchester on Oct. 16.

Helping the local Democrats raise money is a great way to build up a store of favors and good will as Hillary Clinton builds up to a 2016 run for the Democratic nomination.

His appearance will come right after Hillary Clinton helps raise money in DC next week for influential New Hampshire State Sen. Lou D’Allesandro.

The Clintons already have a great history in New Hampshire, site of the first-in-the-nation primary. Bill came in second there in 1992 despite scandal stories, dubbing himself the Comeback Kid and going on to win the nomination and White House. Hillary won there in 2008 after losing Iowa, though she couldn‘t maintain the momentum.
