Hillary Clinton, the likely Democratic presidential frontrunner, is headlining a fundraiser for a candidate in the state that holds the first presidential primary as she begins to weigh in on the November elections.

Clinton will headline a fundraiser in Washington next week for longtime friend, New Hampshire State Sen. Lou D’Allesandro.

The New Hampshire Journal, which first reported the news, quotes D’Allesandro as saying he is “honored” she agreed to attend. “She has been a good friend for a long, long time,” he said. “She is interested in helping candidates throughout the mid-term elections.”

Clinton has not traveled this year to New Hampshire, but was just in the first caucus state of Iowa last week.
