Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway to run for Senate seat

FRANKFORT — With his wife Elizabeth at his side and their infant daughter Eva in his arms, Democrat Attorney General Jack Conway officially entered the race Wednesday for U.S. Senate.

After filing his paperwork in the Secretary of State's office, Conway told reporters that he wants to go to Washington to help create more jobs.

Conway did say the Massachusetts race was "a wake-up call" in that Democrats and Republicans "have not gotten done in Washington what the people want to see done." He mentioned "a decade of neglect" in overseeing Wall Street.
