Sen. Hillary Clinton said she would rather focus on the issues than Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin to win over voters for the Democratic presidential ticket this November.
"John McCain and Sarah Palin don't represent the best choice for the future," Clinton said told reporters Monday, following a rally at Tampa's All People's Life Center. "We're going to focus on the issues. I think we've got winners with Barack Obama and Joe Biden."
Clinton said McCain's pick in Palin was a milestone for the country, but that her name on the ticket should not determine who is fit to serve come January.
