Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Tuesday 26 October 2010

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.


- A roadside bomb targeted the convoy of deputy minister of planning near the National Theater in central Baghdad around 8 a.m. The attack caused injuries to two bodyguards and two civilians.

- A sticky bomb stuck on a civilian car in Dora exploded injuring two civilians.


- A sticky bomb stuck to the car of a police captain, Muhanad Al Jumaily, in Garma town north of Fallujah injured Al Jumaily and two of his bodyguards.


- A roadside bomb exploded in Al Intisar neighborhood in east Mosul injuring one civilian.
