Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Monday 16 August 2010

-One civilian was wounded when a bomb detonated in Amil neighborhood in southwest Baghdad around 9 a.m.


- Four Iranian pilgrims and an Iraqi were killed and nine others were wounded when a parked carbomb detonated targeting their bus in Muqdadiyah city east of Baquba city around 2 p.m.


Armed men attacked an army checkpoint in Jaza'ir neighbourhood, east Mosul, Monday. The ensuing gun fight killed one civilian passer by and seriously injured his son.
