Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Saturday 31 July, 2010

A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol in Rasheed district, southwest Baghdad, Saturday, killing three soldiers and one civilian and injuring four soldiers and seven civilians.


A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Zinjilly neighbourhood, west Mosul, Saturday, injuring five policemen and two civilians. The explosion also caused material damages to nearby shops.

The body of an Iraqi soldier was found in Qayara neighbourhood, south Mosul, Saturday. The soldier was shot several times in the head and chest.
