Baghdad
A magnetic bomb that was stuck to a civilian SUV detonated near Sakhra restaurant in Palestine Street, east Baghdad at 7.30 a.m. Monday, seriously injuring one civilian.
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Zayuna neighbourhood, east Baghdad, at 8 a.m. Monday, injuring three policemen and three civilians.
Two roadside bombs targeted a police patrol in Ghadeer neighbourhood, east Baghdad at 8.30 a.m. Monday, killing one civilian and injuring two civilians and six policemen.
Nineveh
A parked car bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol in Masarif neighbourhood, east Mosul, Monday, killing one serviceman and injuring two civilians.
Armed men opened fire upon a police checkpoint in Midan neighbourhood, central Mosul, Monday, and killed two police officers.
The bodies of a farmer and his son were found in their orchard, in the town of Hammam al Aleel, 15 km to the south of Mosul, late Saturday. There was evidence of gun fire on both bodies.
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in al Dhubbat neighbourhood, east Mosul killing one police officer and injuring another.
Erbil
A 14-year-old girl was killed, and a young man injured in Balian village during Iranian artillery bombardment of the border strip that continued all day, Sunday.
Kirkuk
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Shurta neighbourhood, south Kirkuk city, at 8 30 a.m. Monday, killing one policemen and injuring four others.
