Baghdad
A magnetic bomb that was stuck to the car of an employee of Dijlah Bank detonated in the centre of Mansour commercial street, west Baghdad, at 8.30 a.m. Sunday, killing the driver.
A magnetic bomb that was stuck to a civilian car, detonated in Athamiyah neighbourhood, north Baghdad, late Saturday, killing the driver.
Two home made bombs detonated in Iskan neighbourhood, west Baghdad, late Saturday without causing any casualties.
Two unidentified bodies were found near a church in Dora, south Baghdad, late Saturday.
Kirkuk
A roadside bomb detonated near the Asayesh (Kurd intelligence) headquarters in Faylaq neighbourhood, central Kirkuk, at 8.30 p.m. Sunday, injuring one Asayesh member. Five minutes later, and after a crowd had gathered at the explosion site, another bomb went off injuring three more Asayesh, one of whom is critical.
