The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad Three civilians were wounded when a roadside bomb targeted an American patrol in al Obaidi neighborhood in east Baghdad on Tuesday morning. Around 8 a.m. a magnetic bomb stuck to a civilian minibus detonated in al Hurriyah neighborhood in northwest Baghdad wounding three civilians. A roadside bomb targeted a civilian car in al Dula'i neighborhood, part of Hurriyah neighborhood wounding two civilians around 8:30 am. Four civilians were wounded when a roadside bomb targeted a patrol of Iraqi army in Athemiyah neighborhood in northeast Baghdad. A roadside bomb detonated targeting US military convoy in south Baghdad. No casualties were reported.

Four people were killed including two policemen and ten others were wounded when a parked car bomb detonated in Saqlawia town 7 km northwest Falujah around 9:30 am.

Two Iraqi soldiers were wounded by a roadside bomb that targeted Iraqi army patrol in Rafaai neighborhood west Mosul at noon. A patrol of Iraqi policemen found two bodies in al Wahda neighborhood south Mosul. The victims were strangled to death said Iraqi police. Gunmen killed Iraqi officer work in juvenile hall in Nenawa in al Shafaa neighborhood east Mosul. The gunmen used silencer pistols around 8:30 am. Monday, four recruited of Iraqi army killed when mortars shells targeted the recruiting center that belongs to Iraqi army in al Arabi neighborhood north Mosul. A gunman shot one of Iraqi soldier when an army patrol was searching al Aslah al Zaea'i neighborhood west Mosul. The soldiers responded to the attack killng the gunman Two workers were wounded by a magnetic bomb that was stuck to their car in al Muhandsen neighborhood north Mosul.
