Baghdad
The U.S. military announced the deaths of four American soldiers who were killed by roadside bombs in two separate incidents, three soldiers died at 11.40 a.m. Tuesday north of Baghdad and in the second incident a roadside bomb struck a military patrol in southern Baghdad killing one.
Salahuddin
A roadside bomb targeted the motorcade of the first deputy of the governor of Salahuddin province in central Tikrit injuring one policeman.
Kirkuk
A roadside bomb targeted the chief of counter terrorism force in Amerli, to the south of Kirkuk, Tuesday afternoon, killing the chief and three of his security detail and injuring another.
A roadside bomb exploded in front of the house of a judge in Tuz district, Tuesday without causing casualties.
