Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Tuesday 11 August 2009

A magnetic bomb stuck to a civilian car blew up in Doura neighburhood, southern Baghdad at noon Tuesday, injuring four civilians.

A parked car bomb targeted civilians in an open air vegetable market in Shaab neighbourhood, northern Baghdad injuring nine civilians.

Three roadside bombs went off near to a mosque in al Amin neighbourhood in east Baghdad at 8.45 p.m. Tuesday just after evening prayers, killing eight worshippers and injuring another 30.


A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Saqlawiyah town, 15 km to the north of Fallujah at 11.30 a.m. Tuesday, injuring four police officers.
