A roadside bomb targeted civilians in Doura, southern Baghdad at 1 p.m. Wednesday injuring nine civilians.

A roadside bomb detonated in New Baghdad area in east Baghdad around 9 p.m. injuring six people including a policeman.


Gunmen attacked with heavy small arms fire a convoy of coaches transporting Iranian pilgrims on the main route between Khanaqeen and Jalawla, Wednesday afternoon, killing five pilgrims, injuring 37 others.

A roadside bomb targeted a truck carrying vegetables in al Abbara area in southern Baquba, Wednesday morning, seriously injuring the driver and killing his assistant.
