This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in New Baghdad neighbourhood, eastern Baghdad at 2 a.m. Friday wounding 13 pilgrims.

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in Doura neighbourhood, southern Baghdad, at 10 a.m. Friday, wounding eight pilgrims.

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in Bayaa neighbourhood, southwestern Baghdad, wounding five pilgrims.

A roadside bomb targeted civilians near a billiard parlour in Amil neighbourhood, southeastern Baghdad, wounding two young men.

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in Saidiyah neighbourhood, southern Baghdad at 8.30 p.m. Friday injuring three pilgrims.

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in Niairiyah, New Baghdad at 9 p.m. Friday injuring five pilgrims.

A roadside bomb targeted pilgrims in Zafaraniyah neighbourhood, southeastern Baghdad, at 9 p.m. Friday killing one pilgrim and injuring six others.

Anbar

A roadside bomb targeted the house of the Bahjat Khawam, brother of Garma chief of police Abdulsalam Khawam in central Garma at dawn Friday. The explosion killed Khawam's two children and injured eight other family members and neighbours.

A roadside bomb targeted young men playing a football game on the neighbourhood green in Cheffa neighbourhood, southern Fallujah at 4.30 p.m. Friday injuring nine yound men, four of whom are critical.

Basra

The U.S. military base in Basra Airport was targeted by four Katyusha rockets late Thursday killing three American soldiers, said a spokesman for Basra police. The U.S. military confirmed the incident.
