Baghdad

Three civilians were injured by a roadside bomb in Habibiyah intersection in Sadr city east Baghdad around 7 a.m.

Three civilians were killed and 12 others were injured when a roadside bomb detonated in alHamza intersection in Sadr city east Baghdad around 7 a.m.

Three civilians were killed and 30 others were wounded by a roadside bomb in Shaab neighborhood in northeast Baghdad.

Five civilians were killed and 20 others were injured when a car bomb detonated in Karrada neighborhood in downtown Baghdad around 11 a.m.

Seven civilians were killed and 13 others wounded by a suicide car bomb in Abo Ghraib area in west Baghdad around 12 p.m.

Nineveh

Two policemen were killed when gunmen using machineguns attacked a police checkpoint in downtown Mosul city on Monday morning. The police patrol in the checkpoint killed one insurgent and arrested another.

A woman was killed by a gunman who broke in her house in alFarooq Street in downtown Mosul city on Monday morning.

Diyala

On Monday morning, a bomb detonated in Khan Nafet area northeast of Baquba city killing three security members working for the ministry of oil.
