Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Tuesday 2 June 2009

- Around 10 a.m. a roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy in Rustamiyah neighborhood in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday. The coalition forces confirmed the incident in a statement saying that a U.S. Soldier died June 2 of combat-related injuries after an improvised explosive device detonated near a patrol in eastern Baghdad.

-At noon a roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy near Sadr City on Tuesday. No casualties were reported.
