Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Thursday 11 December 2008

A roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy in Ameriyah, western Baghdad at 8 a.m. Thursday. No casualties were reported, and no comment was available from the U.S. Military at time of publication.


A suicide bomber wearing a suicide vest detonated in Abdullah Restaurant, on the main highway to the north of Kirkuk City that was packed with families rejoicing during Eid, at 1.50 p.m. Thursday killing 55 and injuring 102 according to Kirkuk Districts and Suburban Police.
