A roadside bomb targeted a joint, National Police and Sahwa patrol in Doura, southern Baghdad at 8 a.m. Friday, killing one policeman and one Sahwa member, injuring one policeman and one Sahwa member.


Gunmen attacked a policeman during his lunch break in a diner and killed him, Thursday afternoon in al-Majmua al-Thaqafiyah neighbourhood, central Mosul.

A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in central Mosul Thursday evening killing one policeman and injuring three civilians.

A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi Army patrol in al-Arabi neighbourhood, central Mosul Thursday evening injuring three soldiers and destroying their military vehicle.


The border strip between Iraq and Iran has been subject to bombardment from the Iranian artillery on and off for the last six days. One shepherd was injured, Friday and taken to hospital for treatment.
