Baghdad
Reporter Wissam Ali Ouda, Afaq TV, was killed by sniper fire in Obaidi neighbourhood, east Baghdad,Wednesday.
An IED was adhered to a caravan used by the security personnel of the Algerian Embassy in Baghdad that is located in al-Mansour neighbourhood, Princesses’ street, west Baghdad at 5 pm injuring 5 of the guards.
6 unidentified bodies were found in Baghdad by Iraqi Police today. 1 in New Baghdad; 1 in Kamaliyah; 2 in Bayaa; 1 in Amil and1 in Saidiyah.
Diyala
The body of journalist, Haider Hashim al-Hasseni, al-Sharq Newspaper, was found in Buhruz, to the south of Baquba, Thursday. Al-Hasseni was kidnapped two days ago, according to Editor Abdulrasool Ziyad.
Salahuddin
8 civilians including 2 dhildren were killed in an air raid conducted by the US military, Wednesday said Iraqi police. The US military said the incident began when they followed a vehicle that departed a building guarded by insurgents with machine guns. After firing three warning shots the occupants made threatening movements inside the vehicle and failed to stop then U.S. forces fired up on the vehicle, said U.S. Military spokesman.
