The daily Iraqi violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It’s posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy’s Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

Four Iraqi (2 Iraqi soldier an d 2 civilians) were killed and twenty others (17 civilians and 3 Iraqi soldiers) were wounded in a parked car bomb in Al Naser square in Al Sadoon Street downtown Baghdad around 11,45 am.

A road side bomb targeted civilians in Arasat area at 5:22 p.m. One civilian was killed and 2 others were injured.

Police found 4 dead bodies throughout Baghdad.1 in Doura, 1 in Amil, 1 in Bayaa, 1 in Saidiyah.

Kirkuk

The local police of Kirkuk city found a body near a medical center downtown Kirkuk city early morning today. Police said that the body is for called Awat Ali, a 21 years old man adding that signs of bullets were obvious on his body.

Four members from one family was injured when an IED exploded near their house in Al Wasiti neighborhood in Kirkuk city yesterday night.

Four gunmen kidnapped three civilians while the civilians were in a sedan car near Al Dogmat village south of Kirkuk city yesterday evening.

Sulaimaniyah

Police found a body of a young man near Gwiza mountain in Solaimaniyah city north Iraq. The local police of the city said that the man is a taxi driver called Aram Abo Bakir and he disappeared after leaving his house yesterday morning.

Nineveh

Four policemen were killed and 30 people including seven policemen were injured in a suicide truck bomb that targeted Al Rimah police station in Al Sokkaer neighborhood north Mosul city north of Baghdad around 2,40 pm.
