Baghdad- Around 11 a.m. Two mortar shells landed in Al Baia. The shelling claimed the lives of 4 residents and caused injuries to 6.- Around 10 p.m. yesterday night gunmen attacked a bus in Iskandariya south of Baghdad. The attack claimed the lives of 11 passengers and injured 3 (the three injured are a husband and his wife with their child).- Around 2 p.m. a random gunfire by gunmen in Doura killed 1 civilian and injured 2.- Around 2:30 p.m. another mortar shell landed in Al Baia neighborhood killing one resident and injuring 2.- Around 3 p.m. A mortar shell landed in Al Saidiyah neighborhood. No casualties were reported.- Around 5 p.m. a clash between the Iraqi army soldiers and gunmen in the area erupted. No causalities report.- Around 5:30 p.m. a road side bomb exploded in Al Bunouk neighborhood targeting civilians. The blast claimed the life of one civilian and injured 2.- Around 6:30 p.m. A mortar shell landed in Al Ealam area. The shelling claimed the life of one resident and injured 7.- Around 6:30 p.m. A mortar shell landed in Al Jihad neighborhood killing one resident and injuring 6.- Police found 15 corpses throughout Baghdad in the following neighborhoods:1in Taji, 4 in Baia, 1 in Ameriya, 5 in Amel, 1 in Shaab, 1 in Mansour, 1 in Saidiyah, 1 in Bunouk.Kirkuk- Six bombs exploded in different areas of the city yesterday night. The bombings targeted homes of police officers and other governmental officials in Al Nasr neighborhood. The bombings caused damages to houses and cars. Police found and defused two bombs in the same area after the bombings. Tikrit- Police found a chopped head of the kidnapped police Brigadier Abdullah Mustafa near Beiji. Mustafa was kidnapped two days ago from Beiji town near his house. Diyala- Gunmen attacked Khalouf village and clashed with residents. The attack claimed the lives of 3 residents and injured another 4.
