McCaskill: Rush to judgment on Bergdahl is 'un-American'

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill was one of the last senators to leave a two-hour briefing Wednesday on the weekend prison swap that has become the talk of the nation.

When she finally did leave, she had some choice words for Americans who have criticized Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.

She told Politico that she hoped that the facts surrounding Bergdahl’s military record are eventually declassified “in fairness” to the solider.
