The assets of PayrollAmerica, a Boise company that has been sued by at least 17 businesses alleging that it didn't pay their payroll taxes, would be sold to pay debts under the bankruptcy proposal.
PayrollAmerica, which provided payroll services for business, lists $10.1 million in assets and $12 million in liabilities.
Among those listed as creditors is Key Bank, which is owed $6.3 million.
Wayne Davis of Raleigh, N.C., who started the company in the 1990s, did not return a phone call Tuesday seeking comment.
