Americans more apt to discuss sex than credit card debt

Here's a good one: Americans apparently are more likely to talk about sex than credit card debt with someone they just met.

Credit: Eight of 10 adults (82 percent) are reluctant to openly discuss their credit card debts, according to the poll, conducted by GfK Roper Public Affairs and Media for, an Austin-based consumer credit information site.

Sex: 78 percent of respondents said they were somewhat or highly unlikely to broach the topic of their personal relationship.
