Big Brown didn't just lose the Belmont, he came in dead last

Big Brown could not win the crown. And another year has passed – now 30 and counting – without a Triple Crown in horse racing.

Da’ Tara, a 38-1 shot trained by Nick Zito, went to the front early and went on to win. Big Brown, the heavy favorite, finished last.

"By the last turn, I had no horse," jockey Kent Desormeaux told ABC-TV.
