NFL approves partial sale of Miami Dolphins

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga's decision to sell 50 percent of the team to real estate mogul Stephen Ross has been approved.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announce the league's approval at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, where this year's annual owners meetings are currently taking place.

The NFL's 32 teams needed to first discuss the transfer before it could become official, but Ross' wealth and solid background made it an easy process. The vote was unanimous. Huizenga's decision was first announced in late February.
