This young girl's head was reportedly wounded by an exploding Syrian Army tank shell, leaving shrapnel fragments lodged inside her skull.  She now has brain damage, cannot walk, and can barely control her limbs. The same shell killed three of her young cousins. Their house was reportedly targeted by Syrian Army forces as a reprisal for their uncle's defection to the Free Syrian Army, May 31, 2012 in Latamneh, Syria.  (Austin Tice/MCT)
