Photoshopped fake image from Arizona GOP Congressman Paul Gosar shows former President Obama and Iran President Hassan Rouhani saying the world would be “better off without either of them.”

Arizona GOP Rep. Paul Gosar tweeted a fake image of a photoshopped meeting between former President Barack Obama and Iran President Hassan Rouhani amid growing tensions with Iran, captioning the post with, “The world is a better place without these guys in power.”

Twitter users were quick to point out the photoshopped image Monday afternoon, noting the original image was of a meeting between Obama and India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Gosar sent a follow-up tweet calling out “dim witted reporters,” saying that “no one said this wasn’t photoshopped” and “no one said Obama met with Rouhani in person.”

He continued saying, the point remains that “the world is better without Obama as president. The world will be better off without Rouhani.”
