Kansas City police are investigating an attack on a 22-year-old woman at a motel over the weekend that left her with the word "Hoe" cut into her chest.
The woman told police she met a man on a phone chat line Saturday and he took her to the Crown Lodge motel at 8500 Blue Parkway. They drank alcohol and she performed oral sex on the man but he wanted intercourse, according to police reports. She refused, they argued and the man left about 7 p.m. with the room key.
The woman continued to drink the rest of the bottle and passed out about 3 a.m. Saturday. She told police she remembered seeing a box cutter in the room.
Sometime after 4 a.m., she woke up, groggy, and saw a man in the room, pacing and calling her a “hoe,” a slang term for whore. She said she didn’t recognize the man and didn’t think it was the man who had brought her to the motel.
