A jury this morning found two Fresno Bulldog gang members not guilty of aggravated mayhem for inking a gang tattoo on a 7-year-old boy during Easter break 2009.
The Fresno County Superior Court panel was unable to come to an agreement on any lesser charges against Enrique Gonzalez, 27, and Travis Gorman.
The penalty for aggravated mayhem carried a life prison term.
The jury foreman said the panel didn’t believe the boy when he testified that his father, Gonzalez, held him down on a couch when Gorman inked the gang tattoo on the child's hip.
The foreman also said he believed Gonzalez when he testified that he loved his son and wouldn’t do anything to harm him.
