DENTON, Texas -- A Roanoke teen was sentenced to 60 years in prison Monday morning after she pled guilty to murder in the stabbing of her mother late last year.
Jennifer Bailey, 18, must serve at least 30 years before she is eligible for parole, a Denton County official said.
After Susan Bailey was fatally stabbed in her Roanoke home in September 2008, Jennifer Bailey fled to South Dakota with her boyfriend and younger brother.
The brother, 14, faces a charge of delinquent conduct/murder.
The boyfriend, Paul Allen Henson Jr., was sentenced to 60 years in prison in June after entering his own guilty plea.
