This one rates pretty high on the list of lowest of lows:
Someone stole a walker from a 99-year-old woman's back porch late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Gladys Wallace, a 99 year-old Modesto resident, discovered the theft when she went to use the walker Tuesday morning, neighbor Doug Lemmons reported. She left the walker — which she got only about two weeks ago — there so it would be available whenever she went into her backyard. Tuesday morning, though, it was gone.
"How low can you get?" Lemmons wondered. They ask that whoever stole it return it to Lemmons, no questions asked.
