Barack Obama

Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United States. He previously served as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004. In 2004 he was elected to the U.S. Senate. During the first year of his presidency, he became the fourth U.S. president awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
