Kuwaiti Abdulla Kamel Al Kandari was fleeing Afghanistan in late September 2001 when he hired two Pakistanis to get him across the Afghan border (the official crossings were closed).

The two men took him to a small town just across the border and said the men there would take him to safety. The men of the town delivered him to a Pakistani military jail. He arrived in Guantanamo in Early 2002 and was released Fall of 2006.
