'Ghana adores you' on the billboards as Obama tours

From taxi drivers to politicians, Ghanaians reveled Saturday in the first visit of an African-American president to sub-Saharan Africa. But President Barack Obama had a sobering message for Ghanaians and Africans in general: stop looking backward, don't blame other countries for your woes, but become self-reliant, adopt open and honest government and stand up against violence. “Africa’s future is up to Africans,” Obama said in a speech to the national parliament.
