Bush moves to protect deepest reaches of Pacific Ocean

President Bush declared three national monuments in the Pacific to protect some of the last places on earth where the ocean still looks like the abundant world of centuries or even thousands of years past. One of the new monuments includes the Mariana Trench, which is deeper than Mount Everest is tall.
