White House

Obamas have a busy first week ahead as they arrive in D.C.

The historic Hay-Adams hotel, the new First Family's Washington home through Jan. 15, offers the Obamas a posh and well-secured suite, White House views, 24-hour room service and probably not much free time to enjoy it. For girls Malia and Sasha, Monday marks the start of classes. Their father has a host of meetings scheduled with still two weeks to go to his inauguration.
