Florida immigration law focused on employers hasn't been enforced

As Florida's state senators mulled an immigration crackdown proposal on Monday, they learned that a state immigration law hasn't been enforced in 11 years. No employers have been charged with breaking a Florida law that prohibits anyone from knowingly hiring a person "who is not duly authorized to work by the immigration laws or the Attorney General of the United States.''
