Most of Rand Paul's individual donors lived outside Kentucky

Sen.-elect Rand Paul, R-Ky., raised 69 percent of his individual campaign contributions from donors outside Kentucky, making him second only to Rep.-elect Ben Quayle, R-Ariz., the son of former Vice President Dan Quayle. Both candidates were able to leverage their fathers' donor bases to raise money.
