Dems see new hope in Alaska if tea party's Joe Miller wins

Wasting no time with a potential Republican upset in what had been a previously ungettable U.S. Senate seat, national Democrats on Wednesday made their move in Alaska, working to define the likely Republican nominee, Joe Miller, as an extreme candidate who is a "dangerous enemy to middle-class Alaskans." Miller continues to lead U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski by 1,668 votes.
