Sen. DeMint's first term was a doozy. Now he's ready for No. 2

No one can say that Jim DeMint's first term in the U.S. Senate has been uneventful. The South Carolina Republican helped defeat a major immigration bill he branded "amnesty." He stripped $17 billion in earmarks, irritating both parties. He forced Obama to support a change in the Honduran government that Obama'd labeled a coup. He's branded Obama a socialist. Now DeMint wants a second term.
