Former Alaska rep gets 6 months in state's bribery scandal

Former Alaska state Rep. Beverly Masek pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery. She accepted $4,000 in 2003 from former Veco Corp. chief executive Bill Allen, an oil-field contractor who once was alleged to ahve done work for free on the home of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens.
