A day of bipartisanship marks mourning for Kennedy

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, who died late Tuesday from brain cancer, had been largely absent from Washington for months, an absence felt most acutely as lawmakers struggled to craft health care overhaul legislation. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said recently, "and we would work it out so that the best of both worlds would work."
